Early Childhood Supports and Services (ECSS) is here to help families create loving, safe, and supportive homes where babies and young children can thrive. When you connect with ECSS, a licensed clinician will work with you through a family-focused intake process. This includes getting to know your family’s needs, creating a personalized Family Plan of Care, and updating it at least every six months – or more often if your family’s situation changes. We’re here to make sure your voice is heard, your choices are respected, and you feel empowered in caring for your child. Our goal is to catch any early signs of mental health challenges and make sure your family gets the support it needs for your child’s emotional and mental well-being. In addition, each ECSS location has a resource navigator who can connect you with local resources and services to make parenting a little easier. Whether you need support with health, education, or community connections, we’re here to help you and your family thrive.
ECSS sites are here to support families by offering learning opportunities that help parents and caregivers understand their child’s early development. You’ll get practical tips and strategies to build your child’s social and emotional skills, like encouraging cooperation, effective communication, and positive interactions. Licensed Mental Health Professionals with expertise in infant and early childhood mental health are available to provide personalized support, including therapeutic services and parenting guidance. The goal is to strengthen the bond between you and your child while building a loving, responsive, and nurturing relationship.
