Mobile Crisis Response Services

Mobile crisis response services are there to help you when you have an urgent mental health or substance use crisis. You can call for mobile crisis services at any time of the day or night. You will receive the service within one hour of your call for help if you live in an urban area or within two hours if you live in the country. These services will help you during the first 72 hours of your crisis to feel better and stay in your home. They will help you until you feel safe and can return to your regular ECSS services. This might include getting a higher level of help if needed.  Mobile Crisis Response Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be accessed by calling 1-855-242-2735.

Community Brief Crisis Support

This service is here to help you feel better and find the help and care you need during a crisis. These services help during a crisis and can last up to 15 days. They offer support and help by keeping you at home or in the area where you live. This includes calming down urgent problems and finding the right care. This service is an ongoing crisis intervention response designed to provide stabilization and support in the community after the initial intervention by the Mobile Crisis Response.  You will need to contact your Healthy Louisiana plan, the Mobile Crisis Response Unit, or a Behavioral Health Community Crisis Center to call Magellan and arrange the care you need to feel better. Community Brief Crisis Support services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be accessed by calling 1-855-242-2735.
